Wat ik ook een plus vond, is dat de auteur een 'personal touch' geeft aan het onderwerp door ook zijn eigen verhaal te delen. Een aanrader voor iedereen die met Employee Engagement aan de slag wilt in de praktijk.

What I enjoyed the most was the intimate and open way adopted to share the content. With this book, you already inspire an emotional connection to the different topics and willing to integrate this approach not just professionally but also personally. You have shown your understanding of human nature and how bringing to life all the principles will bring financial benefits to corporations but also ultimately how people could be happier and better human beings.

Alhoewel het boek "gemakkelijk" leest heeft het wel diepgang. De boodschap van de 5 elementen komt helder en duidelijk door. Het zou goed zijn als alle HR medewerkers dit boek zouden lezen. Om werkelijk te woekeren met talent en lekker te werken. Het zou het risico op burn-out enorm verkleinen.

Ik heb met plezier en genoegen meegelezen tijdens het schrijven van dit boek. Het is echt een ‘easy read’ met hele handige en daadwerkelijk implementeerbaar tips om jouw organisatie en de employee engagement naar de next level te brengen.

Marijn is extremely knowledgeable on the topic of employee engagement, and it was a pleasure to read his book. Really enthusiastic, lots of energy and a really smart person with a unique character.

I have come to know Marijn as someone who makes HR leadership roles look easy. He is always calm and keeps oversight, even in high-pressure and complex situations. Marijn has a very natural and open personality, which makes it pleasant to work with him. He has a keen eye for people management and takes a lot of pride in increasing employee engagement within organizations. Nonetheless he will not shy away from making tough decisions if required.

With his inspiring leadership, he was able to connect and motivate the team to aim higher. With eventually leading up to being awarded Best Employer in the South of Holland in 2015, a lot of credits can come his way.
